Legal Specialist, ADB Marine Resources Management and Conservation Project. Federated States of Micronesia
MRAG were commissioned to supply a legal specialist to provide legal input to the Marine Resource Management and Conservation Project involving the Federated States of Micronesia.
These inputs included:
-Drafting new regulations for each State with technical advice from the resource management specialist;
-Revising the draft Model Fisheries Law; and,
-Organising a Legal Workshop to present the draft regulations and assist in ensuring that the changes within each State are included in the new law, whilst retaining the essential structure and universal nature of the law/
