Joe Chapman


Joseph had been a Scientific Observer with MRAG across multiple programmes for over three years, now utilizing his experience in co-ordinating fishery observer programmes. He is currently project manager for the CCAMLR krill programmes, which includes recruitment, training and development of materials as well as managing observers at sea. He also supports management of the Falkland Islands Loligo fishery observer programme, with 16 observers deployed over two fishing seasons a year. He also works with logistical planning of the ICCAT and IOTC regional transhipment, ICCAT Bluefin tuna observer programmes and other observer programmes related to CCAMLR. Joseph Graduated from Greenwich University after studying Fisheries management and Aquaculture and has worked internationally on commercial RAS farms for the five years previous from Malawi to Palau.
