This report provides an assessment of the level of risk for a selection of species of high importance to the German market (high volume or value) along with a number of additional high profile species chosen by WWF Germany. A preliminary qualitative assessment of the level of IUU risk associated with these selected species and the countries from which Germany import these species was conducted, leading to an identification of species, countries and supply chains of potential high risk which would require further quantitative analysis along with guidance for key suppliers to evaluate specific supply chains and conduct IUU risk assessments
