A study assessing the use of EMFF funding for aquaculture

This project provided an insight into the way in which the European Commission and EU member states have actually taken account of the recommendations of the European Court of Auditors. 

The study aimed to provide a clearer understanding on how the EMFF fosters environmentally responsible aquaculture. As part of this it reviewed the multiannual national strategic aquaculture plans and the operational programmes 2014 – 2020 to determine if the measures outlined are in line with the overall goal of fostering environmentally responsible aquaculture in Europe.
