CEN/TC 466/WG 1 Technical requirements of circular design of fishing gear (CDFG)

The European Commission (EC) and the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) will sign a contract under the Framework Partnership Agreement 2014. CEN answers to the standardization request (M/574) of the EU as regards the circular design of fishing gear in support of Directive (EU) 2019/904. 

The objective of the project is to develop standardization deliverables under CEN/TC 466 Circularity and recyclability of fishing gear and aquaculture equipment”, which was established in the beginning of 2021. In order to develop at least seven deliverables, the CEN/TC 466 has decided to create three additional working groups. Within the Working Groups, 7 standards will be developed. This tender is a call for project leaders of these 7 Work Items. Project leaders are responsible for the progress of the deliverables and consider the comments received from the CEN members.
