Provision of Scientific Advice to Government of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands

Advice was provided to the FCO and GSGSSI on scientific and fisheries issues related to GSGSSI’s interaction with other organisations, as requested to by GSGSSI and the FCO.

In particular, advice was provided on issues of interaction with CCAMLR. This included provision for attendance of one MRAG staff member at CCAMLR’s Scientific Committee and Commission meetings, and at the Working Group on Fish Stock Assessment (WG-FSA).
