Institutional Analysis, Development and Capacity Building
Understanding institutions and their role in governance and management is crucial in creating more effective, efficient and equitable management interventions. MRAG have considerable experience of undertaking systematic analysis of the role and function of institutions across a range of scales and of building and developing institutional capacity and capability as a foundation for sound resource management and environmental policy. With its wealth of experience, built up over many years at the forefront of the design of practical solutions to resource management problems, MRAG is well positioned to offer advice, services and personnel to assist in the enhancement of institutional capacity. A complete service is offered, ranging from initial capability and needs assessment and systems analysis, to provision of key management personnel for short or long term advisory positions in resource management agencies.
